Diablo III Thread

As many of you may know Blizzard has supposedly confirmed that it will be announcing Diablo III soon.

I'm personally really excited about this possibility, So I was playing around with todays image from blizzards front page and after painting everything red...

I realized the head in the center of the picture has a shadow that really looks like Diablo.

Do you think Blizzard will be announceing Diablo III at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational, and what do you think of the possibility of Diablo III.

I think that particular genre of overhead action-rpg has been played out.

That said, Diablo III would be playing catch up to whats already been done.

 

i think diablo III still has its following, as i was hardcore into diable II before starting to play wow. Though i think it will be hard pressed to be a major hit with all the competition it is stepping into the ring with.

yeah if that blizzard link doesnt have gameplay footage, you can easily find it on google. looks nice and its definetly coming. (hearts physics)

 

Yay! Looks like I was right. Lets see if they release it within a year or less now.

You know It will be out in 2010 or later after the endless delays.

Oh well It looks awesome. Im out of town and can't watch any gameplay footage on my mobile device. Is there an addon I could download that could let me?


I hope they let you zoom in nice and close so you can see the carnage. They'll probably fix up the game to make everything more convinent to the gamer.

I remember playing this game on single player. The Assasin was the only class that could make it to hell mode.

I hope this game doesn't coast you money to play online like WoW I will be dissapointed if we do.

Diablo was a pretty good series. People just took it for more than it was, a simple hack & slash, with no real story line. Just hack, slash, get stronger, and keep going. If you accept that and like to get stronger and progress it's fun. But one has to understand that's what it is plain and simple. I liked it as far as grabbing a controller, walkin' around, and f'n up stuff. If I wanted to play a real RPG I'd pull out my old SEGA Master System and play Phantasy Star.
