Diagnostic Freeware

I am looking for a freeware diagnostic program that will do a thorough system scan and identify any issues that may be present and offer suggestions on how to optimize the system. There are a million programs out there and I am hoping that someone in this forum can help me narrow the field and find a suitable program.

I am already using Advanced System Care. I am looking for a much more thorough diagnostic program that will scan my entire system and look for possible problems and offer suggestions to fix them.
