diagnostic software

Does anyone know of any good diagnostic software? I have:

4x 512 MB ram sticks
Gigabyte socket 775 Motherboard
AMD 3200+ processor
Apollo Geforce 6800 video card
lots of fans for cooling.

Nothing overclocked


Motherboard/processor was swapped maybe 6 months ago for upgrade.

I pulled all the ram sticks minus one and moved different sticks 1 at a time into different slots on the motherboard

Tried a sata hard drive, tried formatting it, etc. Also pulled the sata drive, put in an ide drive, did same no change.

I don't have another video card. I'm suspecting maybe video card??? I play world of warcraft and can't last 10 mins in there, I all of a sudden on my computer see "no signal input" and then computer kinda shuts down like it's restarting but never restarts, but hard drive etc. still spins. If not playing World of warcraft it does same thing at random times.

I'm kinda at a loss. Any suggestions?

 

Bad Video card. No Signal, and system restarts, that would be a likely culprit. Not memory, hard drive, or motherboard. Most likely the VC is overheating, or it is going bad.

 

Is there any software I can get to log/test this for sure before I buy another video card? Thanks in advance for any help

 

Suggest checking in Control Panel/Administration Tools/Event Viewer/Services and it should show you all system errors with links. An often forgotten diagnostic tool right in Windows. Hope that helps

 

Well guys so far seems to be video card. I borrowed one from a friend and it is so far so good. Just thought I would let everyone know
