Dial-Up And Blocking Images

A friend is on dial-up and is asking...

"Is there a setting that I can speed things up by blocking all images and pictures from downloading (other than ad block)... allowing only the printed matter to show up?"
FireFox 12.0
Windows 7

Tools then Options then click the Content tab.
Deselect Load images automatically.

Goldenskull I can't follow the rules

All so if you want to block stuff like Flash player there is Flash Block for fire fox it will all so speed up the browser.https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flashblock/ Not sure if its ready for 12.0 yet or not but you can still see the movies just click on them.
