Hi guys. Hope someone can help me.

My Norton Antivirus is picking up a Dialer.generic as a High Risk threat. Whilst Norton seems to take care of everything else, it has a problem removing this one. It doesn't appear to be slowing anything down as yet. But I obviously don't want something like this holding on.

There's a diagnosis and resolution suggestion at http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2005-032911-3537-99

But it has a threat level of Low, which differs from mine. The removal instructions don't work for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Profondo!
Please begin with the following instructions. The item Norton's is having trouble with may get picked up by BitDefender or Panda in the course of working through this set of tools. We like to have you do things in this order so we can check your computer at the same time for anything which has come into it. As you'll read if you go to the links below, no one protection system can get everything, that's why we use the following combination of tools. Please post the logs and I'll see if this has helped and if there are other things which require attention.
