What can I do about the following dialogue that pops up during all user profile loadings on XP, it appears to be searching for an unistall file in the temp folder, but I routinely delete the contents of the temp folder during weekly maintenance routines, clean-up, spyware scanning, etc.

"Windows cannot find C:\Documen~1\David\Locals~1\Temp\uninstall.exe. Make sure ypu typed the name correctly and then try again."

Clicking the OK button allows the loading to proceed.

There is some reg-edit stuff you can do to get rid of that. But I dont know how comfortable you are with going through it.

Do you happen to remember any programs you deleted / uninstalled recently?

I can do some reg-edit stuff. I always delete the software keys keys after uninstalling a program. I have once gone deeper. I have a copy of reg edit light and am familiar witht he layout.
Last program uninstalled was Apple iTunes.
