Dialup ISPs

I'm trying to find the least-expensive ISP for my son. He has virtually no discretionary income (he's handicapped), so the lowest cost possible is important. Does anyone know of any good, reliable, ISPs that would fit that description? Thanks for your input.

NetZero is $9.95/month. It's about as good as you can expect from dial-up these days. AOL has a pay per use option, but I'm not sure on the price of that one...

 

You should google "isp", you'll find a number of sites that list ISPs, their prices, features etc. Then you can compare all the ones available. That's how I found the one I use now, ISP.com, $8.95 a month. That about as cheap as you'll find.

 

I am using BasicISP.net--it comes to $6.95 per month standard; $8.95 HiSpeed. Good Luck. OLB

 

What really matters is what ISP is avilable in HIS area. Dial up Internet service is VERY cheap now days. Whats local for me is not whats local for you.

 

my spouse has ev1 at work, and i have on occassion (sp) used it at home (before i had dsl), and it's pretty good. it's advertised at $10 a month, but i think if you pay the year in advance? - sos

I should have said, that's about as cheap as you can get unlimited dialup, without having to pre-pay for a whole year's service. If you're willing to accept a restricted number of hours you can get cheaper.
