Did I do that?.... (as only a true airhead would ask...)

Alrighty... I downloaded Ad-Aware and tried it a few times over the last few days. Before deleting the MANY criticals, I made sure to check their TAC pts. and only remove those which posed the most threats (usually 6 or more pts.). After removing them, I've noticed that now, when I try to use the internet, I cannot see any pages I try to minimize to the lower toolbar; meaning once I mimize them, they simply disappear... no pulling them back up from lower toolbar. My guess is that I quarrentined something called ; WINTOOLS\WSUP.EXE..... also another called WINTOOLS\WTOOLSB.DLL.... and had something to do with the toolbar. I honestly haven't the first clue, and am hoping someone could help me to identify the problem. Also, the last month or so I haven't been able to defrag my PC (after 10 attempts, message tells me that something is continually writing to it). However, one dilemma at a time... let's figure out the first question!

If you already have any of the programs linked in the tutorial please double check your version to make sure you have the latest one and that you have any/all updates for the programs.

NOTE: In order to resolve the issues you are having it is very important that you at least try to perform all the steps as outlined. If you have any difficulty please post back letting us know what steps you have completed, what you found while doing the scans if anything and details about any problems you have encountered in completing the steps. The more details you can provide the better.
