    I'm running Pheonix-AwardBIOS v6.00PG on an ECS PM800-M2 motherboard.

I recently ran a BIOS analysis program on my PC, which sent a report to esupport.com, I then got an email from them, asking me to contact a particular tech at an 800 number.

I did that, and he described some glitches that sounded dead-on to ones that I have noticed on my PC (games shutting down, xp session freezing up at log-off when more than 1 person logged on) and he talked me into a $59.95 upgrade that he is going to email me in the morning.

He also told me that tech support and upgrades are free for 1 year, and after that, additional updates would be $19.99-$29.99/yr.

Is this service legit? Thanks for any input.

Upgrade? As in a technical service upgrade or a motherboard upgrade? ECS is still trying to shed the image of having poor quality products. For that price, you can find a better quality motherboard.
I am not so sure I would be spending extra money on technical support, unless you are using it for like business services, like servers, etc, with onsite tech support.
