Did Over The Air Antenna Tv Work Better In The 80s?

it seems like it or im too far from the broadcasters

is analog better?

 

Back in the good ole days, we had to change directions more often and with a bigger, higher and heavier antenna.

 

now i put antenna on bed some square flat thing and put a book on top of it and i can adjust it-i guess its better

 

When I was house hunting a few months back, I found a very beautiful house (which I ended up not buying for other reasons) that happened to have one of those giant analogue TV antennas mounted to a steel pole outside of the house. I was very disappointed that someone had come along and sliced the cables off of it, since I figured it may work for receiving digital OTA signals should I end up living there. It was a huge eyesore though. I'm glad we are past the point of needing those giant antennas just to receive OTA signals.

 

because we have cable? plutotv on internet seems good

 

Analog better? Depends on your location, and TV reception requirements for your local television station(s).

Cable TV is an added service cost and with today's technology, internet in many instances replaces Cable.

Guess it depends on type of service you're looking for and type of service available to your location.
