Did you Feel That?

I have always used Google as My home page. I just like it.
Does anyone else use the EarthquakeWatch thing on google home page? It is utterly Amazing how many strong "EARTHSHAKES" we have in a single day.
Growing up in North Vancouver BC I have felt alot...about four or five! How can there be so many powerful earth quakes in a single day(20 or more at or around 4.0 + on the scale) and so many people never feel one?
In hawaii there was the huge earthquake that everyone knows about. Not everyone knows there has been a shaker there almost every day since...as high as 5 on the scale.

It may sound sound sick but I have always had a thing for shakers. I call them that since my first one when I was about 12( that I remember). They are to me...in AWE full.
those that don't have this on their google page should get it...very amazing..

Hey Jazagod.... frightening stuff these 'shakers'

I remember (not long ago) sitting in my livingroom in Darwin, Australia on the night that quake triggered that dreaded sunami in indonesia!

The whole house shook, everything fell of the top of the fridge, the cat bolted to the laundry and all the dogs started barking at once!
It lasted a minute or so......the next morning when i woke, i learned that half the coastal cities in the region had been wiped out by the devasting effect of the sunami!

Maybe i should use this 'earthquake watch' thingy!!!!

 

Awesome horrible force, there was a day when I was skippinng school. My best friends little bro was being annoying and loud. he was throwing firecrackers out the window. thats not bad, but we wre listning to David Lee Roth Skyscraper, so Andrew coulda shushed...
There was a PAP, then a CRACK(audible) I was in my chair cross legged, as it began to float, My friends mom had a wall shelf unit. As it did its sezure thing a window broke, the tv fell ...A tree shook violently..followed with a silence. then CRACK, Crack, as another wave of mischif scoured the room.
The sterio held onto the shelf by wires that were so forgiving. Andrew ran into the room looking like, well an idiot!
that was a 3.7, or so. i'm sorry but the west side of North America is screwed..
better learn to swim!!

Same thing happens around here after consuming large amounts of bad Taco Bell...
