Diff between Bluetooth and Wireless

Can some kind soul inform me of the differences between Bluetooth and Wireless? In essence, apart from range and protocols, isn't this the same thing - radio waves? :confused

The short answer for the difference between the two is that WiFi has a longer range, is faster, is more secure, and is more power hungry than Bluetooth. Both are technologies that wirelessly transfer data over radio frequencies in the 2.4GHz range.

Plodr's guide looks good to me.

Wifi - longer range, faster and better (IMO)
