Difficult uninstall

Hello all

Major non geek idiot here (well I may be a geek, but lack any knowledge to go with it).

I have inherited a PC from a 80yo relative who seems to have pressed yes to every crap and time limited piece of software that the manufacturer / retailer autoinstalled. (I hate that - give me a box & system disks & nothing else). Anyway I have got rid of most of it using control panel & downloaded a couple of uninstallers from your site. However there is this THING called omnipass which pops up password / dialogue boxes at the select user stage of xp system start. Now this can be completely ignored by simply clicking a user - but it annoys the hell out of me. Omnipass does not appear on control panel, nor does it appear on any similar grid on any of the uninstall programmes I've downloaded (about 10, cant remember which ones -oops - but I picked all the ones that seemed to feature 'no nonsense' or 'removes difficult stains' etc). Theres one uninstaller that has one feature to destroy 'difficult' programmes and another to identify .exe's from a browse menu - but you cant do both at the same time - AARGH. The 'delete now, sort out the mess later' (told you I was an idiot) option of 'just delete the damn files' wont work either. "Access denied, file is in use" or whatever the stupid pop up windows box says.

Cant find anything useful on the Omnipass site either. 'To uninstall, go to control panel' is their uninstall help menu entry.

Ho hum - advice please

Can you find exe file of this app?If you can download HiJack This from here:

Open HJT>click Config>go to misc tools>click "delete file on reboot>browse the exe file > click OK,then reboot and post what you've done.
