Digital Camera Software??

I have a kodak digital camera. When i transfer videos that i take from it onto my computer the only program that i can open the video files with is apple quicktime. I cant open it with anything else, I cant open it to edit the movies with windows movie maker, and i cant put the videos on my webpage or transfer them to my mp3 player. Can anyone help me with this?

 

You probably need to convert the file type to one more compatible with other software. You don't mention what the file extension currently is of your videos, so hard to say.

I've had that annoyance with a kodak camera as well. I don't often use it for video, but on occasions when I do, I use Sony Vegas, which can import quick time videos and export them in various other formats including AVI.
