Well I heard about winmx.com and edonkey.com. Haven't checked them, but that's all I heard!

you won't get any music warez links here at MGs but for legal free downloads try here http://www.epitonic.com/ I have found all sorts of new musica to listen to by going here... sadly no full albums but enough from most artists to make your own up.

sorry bout that - legal is always better!

im curious as to the selection for musicmatch subscription - anyone have any experience?

and the DFX add on . . . there is one for media player as well - 20 bucks worth it? does it improve sound for laptop speakers?

    thanks again

Not used Musicmatch as reading the blurb you cannot download and burn the tracks, unlike the services of iTunes etc so you would be chained to your PC for your musical listening pleasure.

DFX... is a nice addon for media players, I have used it and yes it does inprove the sound BUT sadly I've not heard if the sound quality is improved on a laptop. Myabe worth downloading the trial and seeing ( ok listening ) if it improves the sound on your LT.

I am a real fan of itunes.

    Want a song?

Setup your billing info, and from there on out, its as simple as a couple clicks and its yours.

I have Musicmatch, it's not bad, but I haven't really tried any others. I really only use it when I can't find the music I want elsewhere. And since I don't have anything else that'll play .wma files, I use my sound card (sound blaster live), to record the music (what i'm listening to) to something that I can play elsewhere (.wav). - sosaman
