digital tv tuner cards

    hi guys,
    really interested in buying a digital tv tuner card for my laptop but i did some research on a uk website and they said that freeview digital tv is only availble in certain areas. Problem is i live in Ireland and cant find any info on whether or not ol be able to recieve any channels ,
    any one got any links or suggestions on where to go for some advice
