Digitial Camera

    I'm looking for a digital camera and I wonder if anyone has any recommendations. I want something small that I can put in my pocket but takes pretty good pictures. I want it to be fast so I can quick point and shoot. Video is a huge plus. Not sure how much I should spend but I think I would be willing to go up to $250 if it was worth it.     Is video a big plus over quality of still images?


    The glass lensed Nikon 630 is a great camera HERE

    or another suggestion for best of both is the Canon powershot SD960 IS Digital which has 12.1mp digital camera and 4x optical zoom, and HD movie (720p) output with HDMI, US prices around $225-$250

    Hi Halo,
    I think that Canon powershot SD960 IS Digital is a very good option but when I checked the prices on the Cannon's website it stated to be about $279.99, so I was just curious to know which place would you get the Canon powershot at the price you mentioned. I'm also looking to have a digital camera and looking for some suitable offer coming around and $225-$250 sounds to be a very good option for me. Thought the price difference is not much but it does mean a lot when you are hard on cash.

    Yeah the Canon has some great specs for the price, but what you need to rememober is you replied to a thread that was from a few months ago and prices fluctuate a bit in technology, however I did locate the SD960 at Amazon HERE for $196.54 and sold via Amazon themselves, but be quick if you like that camera as prices like that dont last.
