Digstream, what is it?????????????????

I just happen to be checking my norton firewall programs and I noticed a program called "Walt Disney Internet Group Digstream" what in the heck is it? I dont remeber downloading it, and when I checked the properties to see when it was downloaded it said in august of 2004 it was created, well the computer I have I didnt get until oct of 2005 and I got it from dell, is it something that was already programmed on my computer? and if so do I need it? I thought that it might be a virus or something.

The properties indicate when the file was created (authored) not necessarily installed and it most likely came bundled with your Dell computer.

If you look at your running processes (crtl, alt, del) do you see digstream.exe running? If so, this is a legitimate running process for both ESPN Motion or Disney Motion and is optional. See the information provided here.

If you do not use either of these you can uninstall them via add/remove programs. You may need to kill the running process first.

Thank you, you have answered my question, I do see the espn in motion and that is probably what it is, so as long as it isnt spyware or virus, I might as well leave it alone. Thank you for your help!
