dim-witted new user????

hello anyone, i'm in need of some assistance, if anyone can help it would be more than greatly appreciated.........
Basically having trawled around for hrs now, I'm gettin stressesd out because the solution's probably staring me in the face!
my packet scheduler miniport has decided it doesnt like me anymore, packed up its things and left me, i cant find a driver(which is what i THINK i need) my computer says it needs one and i really don't know what to do. I know You're probably smilin as u read this but i am not and want to be!!!!
Can any body help me????
if u need more details, basically ive tried installin a camera into my usb and now everytime i use said usb my computer decides to crash.
