Direct Access Component Error

    I have installed SP2 several days ago on my Pentium 4 (Windows XP Home). Now every time I insert a CD-R, CD-RW or or boot up with these type of CD's I get a Direct Access Component Error.

    I have been searching for 2 days now to resolve the issue. I did a search on this site but that information/fix didn't help. :rolleyes:

    I knew there was a reason I didn't want to install SP2. I had this PC for over 2 years without any Service Packs and never had a problem.

    Please HELP. Anything... Thanks
