Direct X windows xp

    This may sound strange but here goes, my kids was going to play the sims game and for some reason my Direct X is gone or unistalled. Now i have attemptd to go to windows and it states I am not a valid window user. How can i get the direct x downloaded. I have dial up so is there a way to purchase a disk or any ideas....very anoid with this XP. :rolleyes:

    If its required for the game to play its usually avail on the CD and will install if needed so its probably there. Explore the CD or another game.
