Direct3D problems :(

    Hi, I just reformatted my laptop and now whe I go to play most games it says Could not find any compatible Direct3D devices :confused can any1 help plz. Ive actually had this problem before but cant think for the life of me what I did to fix the problem rolleyes Much appreciated. Thank You.

    What make and model is your laptop? Did you update all your drivers to the latest version especially the video driver?

    Hiya, Thanx for replying to my post, its a Dell Latitude D610. Ive updated the drivers etc. :)

    What DirectX version do you have on board? To find out, run dxdiag. While you're there, run through the tabs, see if any obvious flags jump out at you.
