If i have a folder with a bunch of files, say music or something, how can i get a text listing of what is in that folder.

So say theres 150 files in a folder...i want the names of those files in text format in a word document.

is there a way to do that??

From a command prompt, in that directory, do this:

    dir > C:\listing.txt

There will be a listing.txt file on your c: drive, that will have the directory listing.
