Directx 10 Problem

    Hi everyone, i'm new to the forum, the truth is that i've been using this page for many years, but never has the necessity of the forum till today...I'm an ubuntu user (and windows just for games) so i always use ubuntu forums, but I dont know any good forum for windows so if there are any recomendations...

    my problem is that i cant run any game with directx 10. i have vista 64 bit, my video card is ati 4870 and i have the latest dx10 and the latest video driver

    i cant use nything with dx10, I tried crysis. assasins creed, even google earth...

    any thoughts?

    Hi

    Strange issue, so do the games install ok and your installing from Admin account?

    When you run the games do you get any error messages and if so what are they?
