Directx Problems

    Hi everyone, I have Rome Total War, and when I try to run it, it says I need Directx9. I checked dxdiag, and it tells me I have the directx9.0c installed, so I don't know what is going on.

    Anybody got any ideas?

    Hi

    What Windows version and Service Pack are you running on this PC?
    What make and model PC do you have? (or if a home build what Motherboard and graphics card)

    If you have a laptop with integrated graphics then it may not work, as it needs a 64 MB DirectX 9.0b compatible Video Card at least.

    In Device Manager do you have any yellow ! marks by any devices, if so what?


    What is your video card make and model and do you have the lastest driver installed for it? (if you are using a hacked version driver like Omega then do tell us)
