directx_apr2007_redist.exe

i know it is a stupid question.
I am not sure how to install directx_apr2007_redist.exe file.
i am doing manual installation.
I created a new file on my desktop first to extract cab files from directx_apr2007_redist.exe folder.
all the files are winzip format cab files except dxsetup.exe
i clicked on dxsetup.exe and programmed run.
do i supposed to open winzip files too or what i did was just enough?

Double click on directx_apr2007_redist.exe it will extract where you want to extract go there double click dxsetup.exe when finish restart computer
your done.....
