Dirt 3 executable....

I've installed dirt 3 but when I double click the icon to play it, I get the Dirt 3 logo, and then error msg. Dirt 3 executable has stopped working.....
I've tried almost every fix I can find on google, like chaning the gameconfig dx9-"true".... deleting the dirt 3 file under documents, I seem to remember having the same trouble when installing portal 2 but I can't member how I fixed it. Anyone else had this problem, or played the game? Thank for the help.

 

I got it finally. For some reason, when the 360 controller is plugged in, and I start the game, it crashes. But, after I installed SP2 onto vista 64 ultimate, it fixed it. :cool
