Disable Control Panel

    Hi, is there away to disable access to the control panel but still allow user to safely remove usb memory sticks? I can disable access via GP but this stops users from ejecting mem sticks and other hardware

    How about creating a limited account for the user. I make one called visitor for all visitors with a dumb password. You don't have to worry about them changing your admin account settings. You can even apply permissions to your folder so that nobody else can access it.

    Not had the time of late as I'd wish to read up or test this newish application from Microsoft out but it "may" do what you need when I skimmed over its functions in an email memo on its release SteadyState ( free )
