Disabling Msmpeng.exe In 2024

Hello MG,

I am coming up empty handed in my attempts to suspend, kill, or prohibit the startup of the
MsMpEng.exe service. This appears to be the key to getting Windows Defender to actually, permanently STFU forever without group policies and registry edits reverting back to a default nanny configuration. I'm on a Win10 Enterprise LTSC machine (ThinkPad X230) with all the latest OS updates, despite my desire to not really ever install OS updates (separate issue), hence electing for the LTSC build... so much for that.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
