    Hi Adryn

Does your cell companies cell service have many data outages? I know mines ok for now but with more and more smartphones being bought the network will start faultering.

Only thing I can suffer from is coverage and I may drop from 3G to EDGE or GPRS, depending on area.

on a side note thinking of swapping my iPhone for a Windows Mobile phone and the HTC HD2 is a cracker.

My cell service has next to nil outages. However, in this case, Blackberries are very much up in the cloud. Even though your cell provider gives you initial access, email, mms, IM, browsing, etc. (all servers minus voice and sms) goes through Research in Motion's servers. So when they go down, its down for everyone.

Ouch on that with RIM, I'm sure I have heard that they have a fair few outages in past year.

Luckily my cell provider is also my ISP and has a pretty good network.

I can't say I've ever had an outage with my Blackberry. I always said I'd never get one, didn't need it, can't believe people buy into it, etc. Now I love my Storm.

I've had it out of the country twice and can get email and internet at no extra cost. Phone and text are disabled, but that's what the hubby's international calling is for.

Hey BM..... is that Droid 1.x or Droid 2.0 (released 6th Nov 09) software?

Only think putting me off Driod is Motorola, never liked their phones and not fussed on the other offerings too, I know HTC have a few, but I did get chance to play with a WM6.5 HTC HD2 last month and its awsome, with more apps Win Mobile is a contender to Apple (and I love my iPhone and had it for 18mths)

WM 6.5 was a huge disappointment. During the summer I was cooking roms for the Samsung Omnia with Windows Mobile 6.5.1.

    6.5 is crap.

Why the thoughts of switching Halo? I dont think i could part with my iphone. the thing is amazing.

@BM - What does the Droid have for apps and whatnot? Is there anything like the app store for iphone?
