When I move my arrow to the right side of the screen, it seems to go off the screen and disappears. It also does this along the bottom of the screen. I just installed a ATI Radeon 7000 64 meg video card, I'm not sure if that has something to do with it or how to fix this?

    Thanks.

natural occurance as far as I know always happened to me... if I remember right it has something to do with the tip of the pointer defines the boundary which is why it doesnt do it left or top of screen.

If you look closely you can generally see the tip of the mouse cursor.

The only thing that is weird is that it didn't do this until after I installed the video card. Is there a way to get it to not do this?

    Thanks!

Just noticed I can do the same thing to the right and bottom, top and left I can't. I'll have to check my other PC.

Have you resized your monitor settings?

But, I agree with Halo, it has to do with the upper left pixel of the mouse cursor defines the location of the mouse on the screen.

This is the same with linux and unix btw.

I have the settings at 1024x768 which is where I've always had them. I'm sorta used to it now, but it would be nice to get it to stop doing that.

    Thx

I said the monitor, not your desktop size. Do you have buttons on the monitor itself to adjust the screen size?

My guess is that your monitor isn't setup properly.

I have adjusted that and it is still the same. It doesn't matter what size I make those settings, the cursor is still going off the screen. I did that the day I set up the computer for the first time and ensured it was still set right after I installed the video card. I'm going to try visiting the ATI web site, because like I said, my pc only did this after I installed the video card.
