Disappearing Icons

Hi

I'm running Windows ME, and when I turned on the computer this morning, its not displaying any of the desktop icons, or on the toolbar at the bottom. I've checked properties, and change icons tabs, as far as the computer seems to think they're there, its just not showing them. I know its not important but its bugging me.. Grrrr..
I've tried 2 reboots, and a complete shutdown, and still nothing..

Can you help me... pleeeeease.

In desktop display properties see if you have hardware acceleration set to full if not slide it to full . To veiw this click setting / advanced / troubleshoot.

I,ve seen this before and that was the problem
