disappearing Posts/Threads

Hi

Not been around fully for a few days but from what I can tell is that two of your posts that had been deleted where in a thread on a suggestion for a Free Video Editing and the posts you made where a quotation (if you wish to ask about a members signature, start a new thread in Lounge asking them), off topic comments that are not aimed at helping the original poster as we like to keep tech threads with tech type posts and off-topics in the lounge, many posts that are in this ilk are deleted as they dectract from the tech aspect of this forum.


As for another and the link to your website presumably, one I see is in the moderation spam filter at present as it likely hit a few common markers in the filter that pull these types of posts out for the admin team to review, this one in a thread on ASC will likely stay in moderation as it doesnt answer the question that the Original Poster made, in which they asked "Does anyone know whether the All In One | Advanced SystemCare 3 3.1.1.602 software offered here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download5927.html will run correctly on Windows ME?"

and not asking for skins, again we do here like to keep our quality standards up and we are famed for this so posts if seen or in moderation are filtered out if they are not what the original poster is wanting, we do like the topics stuck too without drifting off on a tangent.

One thing that will also gain the attention of the admin team is joining a forum and then in multiple threads posting a link to your own site, this can and does on many many forums flag up spamming and joining a large forum and then posting your links to gain traffic is a bit of a no-no. Likely if you had been around here for a while and then mentioned hey I have this site I created for Skins for ASC and if Ok can I post it in Interesting Links area of forum then likely it may have gone through.
