I had my Opteron 148 overclocked and I had it stable, but when I just went to reboot, I got a boot disc failure. What gives? How does speeding up a processor kill a windows installation? Has anyone had a disc boot failure before when your computer was running just fine right before you rebooted it?

Depending on the specs and set up of your rig (which we know nothing about), too much o/cing under certain circumstances can and does cause HDD data corruption.

    Good Luck
