i have 3 disc defragment programs, windows disc defrag, iobit smart defrag and a new one i installed recently auslogics disc defrag, what is puzzling me is that they all show different levels of defragment, eg. today, smart defrag shown 0.8%, windows defrag shown 1% while auslogics shown 8%, could someone please enlighten me on this? thankyou

Yes. And no. They all use a slightly different method and in my opinion all work better than Windows default so pick one you like and stick with it. At the end of the day you will not see a difference from one to the other. IObit and Auslogics are 2 of my favorites. I also like the boot time defrag of Puran Defrag.

I like it a lot but then again I can name at least 5 defrag programs I would use. Its all what makes you happy. Let me know what you end up with.
