Disconnects

Hello guys I keep getting these random d/c for like 20 seconds then i get connected back. This mostly happens in the morning and sometimes in the day. I'm using rogers cable with a router. When it happens it might happen just once in that hour or repeatedly. Also rogers sent mail to us and traded in for a new modem this wasn't because of the problem we were having everyone got one with the old modem and new one its the same. The linksys router is BEFW11S4.
I don't think the router is the problem because I can access the setup. The Cable/Send/Receive on the modem stops blinking also.
