Ah abby beat me to an answer..... but I have also found on most forums the search function doesnt seem to like 2 character words... you may need to change the way you are typing it out.

BTW let us know the problem as we may be able to assist and point you in the direction of any past posts?

Me thinks you're right about the memory. Another 128MB would help a lot, 112 is really not enough for XP.

PC with 300 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor clock speed recommended; 233-MHz minimum required;* Intel Pentium/Celeron family, AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended
128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features)
1.5 gigabyte (GB) of available hard disk space.*
Super VGA (800 × 600) or higher resolution video adapter and monitor
    CD-ROM or DVD drive
Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

BUT, throw in a lesser chip that uses sytem memory and an onboard video card sharing memory and you basically have no memory :) I have seen it run ok on 256, great on 512, never good on 128. Most 128 machines typically use a lesser chip or video card, as mentioned. Minimum requirements are usually not sufficient and this is no different.

As the Major said... this is a case of basically not enough memory and possibly alot of running processes in XP that that amount of system ram cannot handle efficently... Black Vipers site will help narrow down running processes/services which may help somewhat ... but more system ram is a definate as XP really doesnt like less than 256mb and thats a borderline!
