Disk Defrag(XP)problem

    My XP disk defragmenter no longer works.It somehow became associated with "open w/AOL".The same is true w/system restore.When I try to go to a previous date it says cannot restore.Any ideas on how to re-set these 2 programs so that they don't ask for "open with" and just work like they should? Thanks in advance!
