Diskeeper Lite question

    Hi everyone, I have a PC with windows 98 and recently tried to use DKLITE to defragment my hard drive. It gets through the analyisis okay but when I run the defrag it stops at 30 percent and my PC locks up. I have plenty of free space for the defragment. Diskeeper keeps sending me messages that I have a large number of fragments and added 400 + fragments in last three days. Anyone have an idea why the defragment fails?

    Have you tried reinstalling?

    What version of Diskeeper Lite do you use?

    I found that Diskeeper 9 Lite does not run on Win 9x/ME.


    P.S. Make sure that nothing else is running when you run any defragmenter.
