diskeeper lite

    I have an Acer Aspire 5100 with XP media.....Idownloaded Diskeeper lite...and it seems to defrag ok but man it takes forever almost as slow as the windows defrag my other computers defrag pretty fast with DKlite.....the hardrive in this acer is set up as Fat32,not sure why....the other computers are ntfs....could this be why it is slow defraging?

    I would format the HD to NTFS which is more secure and less prone to problems, just remember that you can go from Fat32 to NTFS but alas you can not go back. That should also speed up your "Defrag" Times. Hope that Helps
