diskeeper

i had the diskeeper professional which i downloaded off here http://www.majorgeeks.com/download1208.html but now my trial period has expired, how do i make sure, all the entries are gone? ive run regcleaner, and regsupreme but i cant install diskeeper again (says my free trial period has expired) please tell me i dont have to buy it

probably not. I bet that the entry you're looking for is no where near human readable form and is buried so far down the registry that you'll never find it.

Try O&O defrag.. you'll like that one too

it's shareware, but it will get another 30 days.. When you're done, you're left with O&O lite and the native diskeeper lite that comes with Windows 2k/XP

 

isnt there a way of trickin diskeeper to think it was neva installed on my pc?

sorry, touchy subject with me. Now, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that i've never done it.. but I don't do it anymore. If I need software, I buy it. As someone who dev's applications, I know how much it pisses me off when I ripped off.

Hey Nicky, I agree with Kodo. I bit the bullet and bought Diskeeper a couple of years ago. Haven't regretted it
