   My browser is so slow. I have to type this in notepad and paste it.
   I tried to read the tutorials but it takes 30 minutes just to scroll down a page.
   
   I deleted "diskxml.exe" from my folder called "prefetch" and fixed it with
   Highjack This but it just comes right back. (it's a pestulance that is
   driving me crazy)
   
   I have been at this all day....please help.

   Sounds like a StopGuard problem. See this http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=44849
   and many other threads by searching for StopGuard or Catlevents.
   
   You need to run this sticky first: READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal
   
   If you already have any of the programs linked in the tutorial please double check your version to make sure you have the latest one and that you have any/all updates for the programs.
