Display driver igfx stoped responding and has recovered

while playing World of Warcraft my screen will go black and the messages that pops up is "Display driver igfx stopped responding and has revovered" this happens a lot and is very annoying. many times i even have to restart the game cuz even though it says it has recovered my game screen stays black. please help so i dont go crazy.

 

i have read that it is an update from windows that causes the problem. do you know which update it is and will removing the update fix the problem.

 

You should see if there are newer drivers for your video card. Also, heat can be a problem, make sure the fan (if the card has one) is turning, and clean out any dust in the heatsink.

If that does not help, can you post the specs of your computer? Type of GPU, operating system, motherboard...
