Display issue (multiple displays not perfectly cloned)

So I finally got my 1000W Corsair power supply (<3), and installed that and my Nvidia GTX 465... awesome, right?

Except, my secondary display appears apparently partially zoomed, because it's missing the "edges" of the actual display "window".

Displays: LG Flatron W2453V (24" widescreen 1080p LCD monitor) and a Vizio GV47L (47" widescreen 1080p LCD TV)

The monitor is connected via a standard HDMI cable using a DVI to HDMI adapter, and the TV is connected via an HDMI to DVI cable (HDMI connection to the TV, DVI connector to the video card). (The graphics card has 3 inputs -- two DVI ports and one mini-HDMI port.)

I did NOT have this problem with my old Nvidia 9400GT card.

I have the displays set to clone (that's what I want).

For instance, on the monitor, everything's visible just fine, but on the TV, the edges aren't visible (i.e. Windows 7 Start orb, first vertical list of icons on the desktop, the task bar clock, etc.).

With the old graphics card, the displays looked identical.

I've messed with every setting I can find on the Nvidia display panel (I'm running Windows 7 x64, and downloaded the drivers from Nvidia's website FOR Windows 7 x64), there's no zoom functions on the TV enabled... it's NOT a TV issue, because I've tried "standard" picture (versus "widescreen") and the screen parts are STILL missing.

The strange part is, the top and bottom of the screen is displaying identically on both LCDs.

So... recap: Both displays have identical native resolutions (1080p), both were cloned perfectly with the old Nvidia 9400GT graphics card (definitely needed replacing), both are NOT displaying the same now.

Even if I set the TV as the primary display, the problem remains exactly the same.

I really don't know what's going on... can anyone help me out with this please?

I am no expert, but i can suggest your uninstall all your graphics related drives and install them. do restart after each process.
Did you get any CD with any of your displays.? if so try installing them.
    Or
Try Adjusting From The Display It Self.
    Hope This Helps.

    Hi

Thanks for the reply. I'm using the latest software for my monitor, the TV didn't come with any software.

I've already tried adjusting from the TV with no change.

I installed the latest Nvidia drivers for the graphics card FROM Nvidia, but I noticed Microsoft Update had its own version of drivers it wanted to install instead, so I suppose I can give that a run and see.

    Holy crap!

    I CANNOT believe me eyez!

That actually worked... baffling how getting drivers DIRECTLY off of Nvidia's website didn't work, but through Windows 7 x64's Microsoft Update works.

    Thanks again for the help.
