Display issue with games using Windows 7.

I have loaded a couple of games that ran fine with my other computer but I have a problem with this one which has Windows 7. I am using the same monitor (HP 22") and graphics card (Galaxy 240) but when I play a couple of games it acts as though I am using a 17" monitor. There appears to be black bars on the left and right of the gamescreen. So how do I get this working like it use to, or like it did. The only change really was Vista to Windows 7. Help :cry

 

Which games are we talking about, and did you reinstall them or just merge your data over?

 

Wondering if the game itself has screen resize options?

 

64 bit Windows. I installed my drivers that came with the graphics card. What more would I need to do?

 

I had installed the drivers again from nvidia. All seems to be working now. Thanks.
Oh, and they were Stronghold II and MS Flight Simulator.

 

Those two should be working just fine in 7. Most likely just a glitch...
