Display problems

Your having problems with your firefox display because your ethernet controller is not installed properly and your sm bus controller is not controlling anything.

What does that mean and how do I fix it?

That was the answer to a problem I had with no color in my browser (firefox and IE) and some off colors in other places.

 

Update your drivers.

WHat brand and model of computer do you hvae?

 

I'm sorry, but I'm looking at your previous screenshot, and that looks like a site preference to me...like a theme.

Ive gone to the site, and compared it to your screenshot...very little color is missing.

If its not a forum preference, then I would start looking into your Accessibility options in Control panel, to see if you inadvertantly changed your display settings to something like high contrast.


Don't get me wrong, you have driver issues, but I very much doubt thats what caused this.

 

Dell... not sure of the model... where do I get those drivers? It is XP home edition

 

from the Dell website--better get the model number.

Check what I mentioned as well.

I'm not sure of the problems that might arise from those drivers acting up, but my problem was a single checkbox that said high contrast~
