    Dear Geeks,

Recently my company started using a web-based program for data entry and we seem to have a dilemma.....if we accidently click outside a text entry box nd hit "Backspace" our browser does the wonderful act of going back a page. As you can imagine it is beyond frustrating since we lose all entered data if this accident happens. My request is this: Is it possible to dissable the feature in IE/Firefox/Opera/etc. that makes the "Backspace" key do what the "Back" button does? If it is please let me know how.

My employer and I thank you in advance for your assisstance.

    Sincerely,
    X Ninaki

    Hi Ninaki
I do a lot of work with companies that use proprietary software as well as web based programs (Insurance Brokers - Lawyers and Mortgage Brokers)
I need more info especially what web based program?
This program should have their own Tech Help and their service to you is usually included in the fees you pay / paid for this program and they should answer this problem.
Let me know and if there is no help desk give me the name of the program and what it does for your company. DONOT put the website portal or passwords on this site
    Regards
    Dr.D
