Dissecting an .exe

Recently, I got a CD from my old High school with pictures taken during the time I spent there. Now, these photo's are stored, apparently, in an .exe file. There's nothing more on the disk, besides an autorun program that runs the exe as soon as you put the disk in. I want some specific pictures from this gallery, but I have no idea how to open it up. There's no 'open with...' context menu option, and I have no idea what program is used to run it. It just starts up, and fills the whole screen with a menu: three items (the school itself, a school trip, and a regular school day, all selectable by a small button with the first photograph of the section), loop all and play all. Anyone have any idea or specific programs I could use to extract specific photo's?

sounds like a projector file.. i.e Flash.
not sure how to go about extracting files from those, however.

Try pressing Print Screen on your keyboard when you see a photo you want. Then paste it into paint, like foogoo said. :)

I know it's not specifically what you want, just trying to help. :)
