Divx problems

I am using windows 98 and trying to get Divx. Here's the catch, everytime I download it then try to install the codec, it says that it's not compatible. Funny thing is I've had it on win 98 before. Options please and giving up is not one of the options accepted.

I use the k-lite codec pack, it has all the codecs you need for just about everything, why don't you give it a try:

didn't not work dude. It had everything but Divx under the full download. Other options.

 

which version of divx do you have? did you get it from divx.com? here's their requirments win xp or 2k only. http://www.divx.com/divx/system_requirements.php

check out http://www.divxmovies.com/codec/ for a win 98 version (assuming you haven't already)
