dl.exe,removed? (didnt know were 2 post so dont it here)

last night i got this dl.exe virus, from installing XPstyle to my computer, everytime i tried 2 use IE it just cut off my connection so i went on a dif computer and just googled dl.exe and found out it was a nasty password stealing tojan?...
so anyways i come back to the infected PC, and tried uninstalling the XPstyle, and deleting it ect ect but it wouldnt let me.. so i went into the task manager and just ended all the prosses's i didnt recognize.. includding the xpstyle, then i was able to uninstall/delete it.. and now it seems to be gone, when i restart my PC i dont get the little black box with dl.exe and the other box saying im doing illegal things ' close / ignore '' ..
Im just wondering does this mean the trojan has now gone? i have my connection back and all seems fine, just with this being a password stealing, i dont wana go on any online banking website's or anything like that, i dont really know wat im doing with computers so would it be better to be safe than sorry and just reinstall windows?

im currently doing a onlinevirus scan with bitdefender and i have got about 20 files so far inffected with 'Win32.gael.366'

any help would be appreciated.. thanks
